We’re happy to announce that Sensory Lab is returning to the Melbourne Showgrounds to demonstrate the latest in gadgets and goods.
In 2016, MICE visitors can expect an even bigger and better display of equipment, coffee and barista talent.
“The premise of the brew bar is to create something truly unique at a coffee event, which engages both the public and the coffee professional,” says Sensory Lab’s Ross Quail. “For MICE2016 our focus is on sharing the knowledge of our team and sharing some really great coffee.”
Ross says in addition to demonstrations of the latest brewing methods and equipment, visitors can expect to see a few well-known faces behind the bar.
“Both barista champions Matt Perger and Ben Morrow will be on hand, answering questions and talking about what they’ve been up to,” he says. “We want this to be a real education forum, so the guys will be giving a few practical lessons too.”
Sensory Lab will be hosting a latte art competition, showcasing its cold brew offering and giving guests the chance to try some new toys. Sensory Lab trainers will also be on hand to talk about the group’s education program.
“We’re looking forward to engaging with the crowds on both a retail and wholesale level,” says Ross. “More than anything it’s great to get to speak to coffee lovers about our coffee.”
